FAC 494: Hacienda 25 poster

Poster for a previous exhibition at the Urbis in Manchester.

Basically, for a college project we had to redesign and reprofile the Urbis, designing a new logo, studying a designer and creating posters for any exhibition staged there. I chose the 'Haçienda 25' exhibition from 2007/2008 because it appealed to me, and obviously, I chose Peter Saville as my chosen designer.

This design is a distinct departure from my other two designs, in that I drop the yellow and dark grey colour scheme in favour of a more colourful design, supposed to represent the acid house culture present during the Haçienda's heyday.

The exhibition's FAC catalogue number is FAC 491, so this poster is FAC 494
